ACTIVE Leadership Delivering Results for Eagle Pass
Elias Diaz's story is probably a lot like many of yours. Elias was born and raised in a middle-class family in Eagle Pass. During his early years, he looked up to his parents as he watched them both work tirelessly and sacrifice a lot to find a way to provide opportunities to make their kids' lives better. From an early age, Elias learned the value of hard work and creating possibilities.
Elias graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 2005 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his higher education. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and his graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. During his time in Los Angles, Elias was faced with multiple and varied adversities that laid the foundation for his commitment to social justice.
For the past 10 years, Elias has dedicated his life to using his life experiences to improve the lives of others. As a Mental Health Clinician, he has provided therapy to those who needed it most. As a nonprofit leader and developer, he has created opportunities to address the unmet needs of the community. Using his passion for health and wellness, he has created community events and initiatives to create a culture of health.
Now Elias Diaz is working hard with his growing community of supporters to become Eagle Pass's next City Councilor so that he can work on what he loves most
